MDF, medium density fiberboard is an engineered wood product formed by breaking down wood

into fibers, often in a defibrator, combining it with wax and a resin binder, and forming panels by

applying high temperature and pressure.

MDF can be used just as they are plain, but most time will be laminated with Melamine paper,

wood veneers or even painted, suitable for making various furniture and shelving, also for making

laminate flooring, decorative molding and doors. MDF is also a great material to use when building

rooms that need to be insulated from heat or sound.
